Marsupials & Monotremes

This honour has a distinct Australian theme. Why?  The answer is that marsupials and monotremes make up most of Australia’s native animals.

Put simply, a marsupial is a mammal with a pouch and you’ll learn about pouches and the direction they face.

You’ll be fascinated by the different ways these animals reproduce. Some even lay eggs!  Have you heard of a platypus or an echidna?

Also you’ll learn about different marsupials – wombats, koalas, kangaroos, possums and more.

Assessment documents (tests) are available only to club leaders. Please sign in below, or request access.
